Previous conflict and the current economic situation in Afghanistan have left millions of Afghans homeless or living in poor-quality shelters around the country. HRM is on a mission to build suitable homes so we can re-house people in permanent housing.

The past four decades of war have left much of Afghanistan in ruins, in particular rural areas. This period of conflict has also affected mosques, leaving them heavily damaged and at times unsafe for worshippers to use.

As you are aware, Afghans are on the brink of starvation; according to the WHO, 1 in 3 Afghans are in poverty. HRM wants to make a difference with the help of its donors by distributing bread to poverty-stricken Afghans on a day-to-day basis.

Over four decades of war has crippled every major institution in Afghanistan. Recent events have changed the governing structure of Afghanistan; however, war still continues and civilians are caught in the conflict.
Free Medical Camp
Four decades of war in Afghanistan have left the healthcare system in ruins and mainly reserved for the privileged and wealthy. This has left those who are deprived and jobless without any healthcare.
Blood Donation Awareness Campaign
UNICEF’s surveys found an average of 638 maternal deaths per 10,000 live births. Significant progress has been made, with rates previously as high as 1600 per 10,000 live births.
hygiene kits
Due to the current financial crisis in Afghanistan, people can’t afford to feed themselves, never mind look after their hygiene, so HRM distributes these hygiene packages to try and prevent underprivileged people from getting any health complications associated with the lack of hygiene.
Orphan and Widow Sponsorship
Afghanistan has been torn and devastated by conflict for the past four decades. This has left many orphans and households in a conservative society without any breadwinners. This means that many kids, as soon as they become of walking and speaking age, have to feed and care for themselves and their families.
